BLAKE DESIGNS

Hi, my name is Steve Blake. I am the owner of Blake Designs & Firewood, LLC. My family and I have lived in Chardon for over 10 years and have grown to love this community of people and local businesses.

 

In 2022, as a way to make a few extra dollars to fund our daughter’s wedding, I began taking on some small side projects as well as selling split firewood. Working full-time in manufacturing as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, I found that working outside in the evenings- splitting firewood, building picnic tables, headboard benches, outdoor furniture, wood sheds, and even enclosed garden centers was a great stress reliever and the creative outlet I didn’t know I needed! Over the past 2 years our customer base has grown and we are loving this new connection to our community and source of provision for our family! 

 

A little about me: I am first and foremost a follower of Jesus. I love him because he loved me first and saved me. My wife Sarah and I have been married for 23 years and have 3 beautiful children. I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in OEF/OIF in 2003 to defend and fight for our great nation.
